Cerro Gordo Street is a thrifter, antiquer, and junker’s delight. I recently found myself in Wabash Depot on the hunt for a vintage mink stole. I found a few, but not the length I was hoping for. But I, of course, found other treasures. (A rose quartz elephant, a strand of gemstone beads, a vintage glass candy jar, a photo book on the history of Oreana, and a funnel for canning – I’m gonna learn this year!).
Wabash Debot has been an antique store for 23 years and hosts 40+ vendors! From authentic turquoise jewelry to enormous antique furniture with a million drawers to taxidermy and uranium glass and fun collectibles, you’ll need a whole afternoon to see it all.
And if you poke around in some of Troy Taylor’s Haunted Decatur Books, you’ll find out that there just might be more than just spooky dolls haunting the depot. ![]()
Also you can probably find some of his books there!
Truly, they’ve got it all.

**Extra fun fact since I’ve got a pic in here of a Raggedy Ann & Andy booth. Did you know the Annabelle doll in the movie series The Conjuring (the Ed & Lorraine Warren stories) is actually a Raggedy Ann doll? They spiced her up for the movies because she just doesn’t look creepy enough. Raggedy Ann & Andy originated right down the road in Arcola!
And note, this place is not creepy at all. Just lots and lots of history!
