Take a little small business shopping journey with me across town!
We often start our holiday shopping at Novel Ideas Books and Gifts for stocking stuffers but we leave with way cooler things than expected (as always). I gift a lot of puzzles, and we found something really cool to switch it up this year…. a miniature greenhouse 3 dimensional puzzle! When you’re done assembling, it will be a beautiful little tabletop greenhouse! There are fun toys for every age. Brain teasers, specks fidget toys, functional puzzles that actually DO something once they’re assembled, and unique toys for kids like you’ve never seen before.
And of course, this shop is first and foremost a bookstore. Kim has stocked the shelves with books that are truly art, and many that reflect current events in digestible ways. Find your favorite lit on a scarf or pair of socks too.
Did you know 2025 marked Novel Ideas’ 30th year in business? I’ve been visiting Kim for most of my life.
